We are part of High Peak Scout District in Derbyshire County. The District covers the the town of Buxton and the parishes of Chapel-en-le-Frith, Chinley Buxworth and Brownside, Hayfield, Peak Forest and (where we are) Whaley Bridge.

We are one of eight groups operating in the District. The others are in Buxton (four), Chapel-en-le-Frith, Chinley, and Hayfield.

Our Group runs one each of the different sections - Beaver Scouts (from 6 to 8 years), Cub Scouts (from 8 to 10.5 years) and Scouts (from 10.5 to 14 years). The District runs Explorer Scouts (from 14 to 18 years) which is based in our Headquarters.
