Welcome To The 1st Taxal (Whaley Bridge) Scout Group


The 1st Taxal Scout Group runs four sections (and hosts the District Explorer Scout Unit) from it's headquarters in New Road, Whaley Bridge.

Sections in the 1st Taxal Scout Group


Beaver Scouts (6 to 8 year olds - boys only) - Wednesday 6.00 to 7.00 and 7.15 to 8.15.


Cub Scouts (8 to 10.5 year olds - boys only) - Monday 6.45 to 8.15 and Tuesday 6.45 to 8.15.


Scouts (10.5 to 14 year olds - boys only) - Thursday 7.30 to 9.30.

In High Peak District there is one Explorer Scout Unit which is based at our Group -
