Headquarters - Directions


The Headquarters is at grid reference SK 013 803, off New Road in Whaley Bridge. Click

You will approach Whaley Bridge from one of five directions.

FROM THE NORTH (A6 from Stockport)

From the A6 follow the signs into Whaley Bridge turning right at the roundabout at Bridgemont (if you go onto the dual carriageway bypass you have gone too far). Go through the centre of the village and continue along the A5004 until you get to a set of traffic lights. At the lights go straight on and then turn immediately left (in between the Bistro and the Nursery) on to New Road. See below for the final part of the directions.

FROM THE WEST (B5470 from Macclesfield)

As you drop into Whaley Bridge down the hill, you will eventually come to a set of traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and then immediately left (in between the Bistro and the Nursery) on to New Road. See below for the final part of the directions.

FROM THE SOUTH (A5004 (Long Hill) from Buxton)

As you drop into Whaley Bridge you will see a set of traffic lights. Immediately before the traffic lights turn right (in between the Bistro and the Nursery) on to New Road. See below for the final part of the directions.

FROM THE EAST (B5470 from Chapel-en-le-Frith)

As you enter Whaley Bridge, continue to follow the road until you come to a set of traffic lights. At the lights turn left and then immediately left again (in between the Bistro and the Nursery) on to New Road. See below for the final part of the directions.

FROM THE EAST (A6 bypass)

At the end of the A6 bypass follow the signs into Whaley Bridge turing left on to the A5004. Go through the centre of the village and continue along the A5004 until you get to a set of traffic lights. At the lights go straight on and then turn immediately left (in between the Bistro and the Nursery) on to New Road. See below for the final part of the directions.


FINAL PART OF DIRECTIONS

Follow New Road eventually passing the Cromford Flats on your left hand side. At the end of the flats you will see the headquarters on your right hand side through a green gate. Note that if you go as far as the new houses on Shallcross Road, you have gone too far.

TRAIN

Whaley Bridge is on the Blackpool North to Buxton line with trains direct from Blackpool, Preston, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport and Buxton. The headquarters is approximately one mile from the station. For timetable information please click
